Cleo was my first dog as an adult. A Dalmatian, if you know the breed, what was I thinking!!
I chose her from the litter at 6 weeks old and brought her home when she was 8 weeks old. Puppy training; again, what was I thinking. She was crate trained and did very well. I came home from work at lunch each day for her. I was not going to let everyone that told me that Dalmatians are difficult dogs, get in my way. That really is not true, you may know. They are in fact very intelligent and they choose to do what they want. If they want to follow your directions they will, otherwise, they think for themselves. Yes, a challenge. She was a lovely dog and she was with me 16 years before we had to say goodbye.
